A vibrant couple in Campbell commissioned Philip Leeson Architects to design the alterations and additions to their 1960s concrete brick home. We undertook a complete refurbishment of the interior spaces, improving internal circulation, access to natural light, wet area arrangements, as well as the general thermal performance and spatial connections.

A small extension to the rear of the house was added in the form of a new master bedroom wing. A rich internal palette of stone tiles, timber veneered joinery and carpentry, plus delicate timber lights offset the existing brick walls and floor-to-ceiling slender window and door openings. New double-glazed timber windows and doors were installed to existing openings, which has provided a considerable improvement to comfort.
