Alanna King

Architect and Heritage Consultant

Alanna is a heritage consultant and registered Architect, and has been a trusted member of the Philip Leeson Architects team since returning to Canberra as a graduate.

Initially passionate about achieving sustainability in architecture, Alanna has expanded this interest to include guiding the management of heritage places in and around Canberra. She has a strong desire to consider past, present and future, which in turn inspires heritage master planning and design advice, Heritage Impact Assessment / Statements of Heritage Effect and Conservation Management Plans.

A strong communicator and attentive project manager, as an architect Alanna continues to be rigorous in the practical aspects of project delivery while seeking creative, thoughtful and achievable solutions for place making. Her most recent experience has seen a focus on embassies in Yarralumla, Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres in Braddon, and contract administration of numerous residential projects.
