A new house for ‘empty nesters’ in the lakeside suburb of Yarralumla combining passive solar principles and contemporary architecture.
The site overlooks parkland in an area formerly of modest cottages, now being re-developed. The brief called for a comfortable, easy care home, with space for guests, yet privacy for the owners and to take advantage of the attractive outlook.
